It was strange I actually woke up this morning wanting to listen to Good Day by Angels and Airwaves even though I wasn’t expecting it to be good with a 5 hour shift looming over my head.
So my day went as normal till 2 o’clock when I got a phonecall off my favourite person to hear from in the last four months, Mr. Freer of Smith Knight Fay in Gee Cross. He had some very good news for me which I was excited to hear.
So my car has arrived but in its current factory state condition I can’t drive it away just yet. It was nice to set my eyes on something I’ve been saving for months for and seeing it there in front of me rather than a figment of my imagination.
So after a long discussion about crunch numbers and details of pick up and insurance (which made me think more than I have about maths in recent months) we left and I’ve got to go back in the morning to finalise the finance as well as see if I’ve got a chance to snap a photo or two.
The problem with not getting one today was I saw it when I pulled up but by the time I’d left it was gone, probably to be cleaned and doubled checked before pick-up on Thursday.
This on-top of a saving of £500 on my insurance quote, which amazed me! & how good the money from work was makes this the second best day of the year so far and soon to be the third.
This is the day I’ve been waiting four long months for and its so good to finally be at this point, bring on the day after tomorrow!
